East Burke is 0 for 11 so anybody looks pretty good against them when they're getting their butts handed to them weekly. Hate to say it but someone needs to get their rear in gear and do something about the softball program before it's irrevocably damaged. I'm thinking in the neighborhood of a coaching change since all the crap that has gone down there and them loosing players left and right. When somthins broke, fix it!!

As for Freedom, they are playing great ball, no doubt but I predict you'll get an 8 point loss to CC.

 

Central Cabarrus dominated Freedom today winning 8-0 to move to 13-0, Freedom only had 3 runners and one was thrown out on a great play by catcher Brittney Furr, they never got a runner past second base.

Just want to say I was very impressed on how much the Freedom girls hustled during the game. They do not mind sacrificing those bods.Good group, & good coaching.Good luck girls the rest of your season.

Yes, they are for real! Central with out a doubt is going to make a very strong run at Raleigh. Good crowd on hand from the Freedom folks and plenty of home crowd support as well. Fun atmosphere to be in, just wish we played better early. Thanks for the good compliments from the CC fans and coaches. This loss only made Freedom better!

after watching CC earlier against SPHS and hopefully the EGaston game at CC ....isn't playing the best always a good gauge for your program. Learning experience and hopefully now, some great expectations from the players themselves. Thanks Coach Sherrill for extending your schedule to Gaston/Burke Counties this year!

I DONT THINK THE COACHING STAFF IS THE PROBLEM AT EBHS. YES, THERE HAS BEEN DRAMA,,,I FELL PARENTS HAVE DISCUSSED ISSUES IN FRONT OF THE DD, AND THE DD HAS TURNED AGAINST THE COACH. IT ONLY TAKES ONE OR TWO TO BRING THE WHOLE TEAM DOWN. COACHES WITH WINNING TEAMS HAVE GIRLS WHO HAVE DISCIPLINE AND RESPECT. TAKE FOR EXAMPLE M.SHERRILL AND THE CENTRAL CABARRUS VIKINGS.THE COACH AT EBHS IS VERY EXPERIENCED IN THE GAME,,THERE ARE MANY ON THE EBHS TEAM WHO ONLY PLAY BALL FOUR MONTHS OUT OF THE YEAR WITH NO TREAVEL BALL. MAYBE THE GIRLS NEED TO BE FIXED,,,NOT THE COACH.
