New Impact Polls Out

Impact Baseball has posted the new rankings. In 3A, Fred T. Foard has dropped all the way to #10 after being the pre-season favorite. Rightfully so, St. Stephens has entered the rankings at #4. Thought they would even be higher since their only 2 losses are to 4A South Caldwell pre-season.

 

South Caldwell fans will agree that St. Stephens is definitely a tough team. Patrick Johnson is one of the top pitchers that I've seen and he can also hit the ball. To be such a small guy he really has a cannon of an arm. The Indians have other good pitchers as well so they will be a dangerous team come playoff time.

 

Actually one of Saint's losses was a blown lead in the 7th against a good Alexander Central team, and the other was 2-1 in 11 innings agains South.

Saint is playing well with good pitching and some timely hitting. As long as they don't get complacent they can go a good ways.
