Guys, use my comments as motivation. Prove me wrong. I want to see you rub it in my face tonight. Nothing would make me more happy then upsetting the 3rd ranked team in the USA.

Madison allowed 1 hit with no walks through 6 innings pitched. Zack Brown pitched the 7th inning and allowed one hit batsman but gave up no runs and hits.

South has now outscored its opposition on the year 126 - 12. In the last 8 games South has scored 83 runs and only given up 1 run. The maximum number of runs given up to a conference opponent is 2.

Watauga came out fired up emotionally believing they could pull the upset. Watauga made some really good defensive plays but also commited a few errors and you have to play flawless ball to beat South.

Well so much for that. Watauga didn't bring their A game in any aspect. Gotta play perfect on defense and shut them out on the mound to have any chance. Pitching wasn't up to par...which proved to be the deciding factor. Big test will be rebounding after a bad game and playing like they can against Freedom
