    Update on Kendayl

Sorry I have not responded lately. The world has been turning slow, but the doctors around here have been moving quickly with Kendayl. They have diagnosed her with Hodgkins Lymphoma which is the best of the worst lymphoma. It is very treatable. Prayers have definitely been felt by us all. Yesterday she finished all of the last tests and then started chemo about 4:00PM. The doctor asked if she was ready and she told them the sooner they could get started the better. Her world was pretty upbeat until just before they started. They start with 6 different drugs and it lasts about 4 hours. Today will be 3 more and Friday 2. She was a pretty sick puppy last night, but is sleeping well this morning. She may actually go home this weekend. We were told to prepare for 2 months when we got here last Sat. The schedule for the next few months is supposed to be 3 days in Baptist and 3 weeks at home. I would not be surprised if you see her out somewhere in the next few weeks at a field near you. Donna, Kendayl, Trey and I truly appreciate all who have responded and have been praying for us. Continue to lift her up and play every game with the upmost effort and zeal you have.

    Thank you for the update

With all you have on your plate right now, THANK YOU so much for the update on Kendayl! We are and will continue to pray for Kendayl and you all! Believe in the power of prayer! It works! May God keep you all strong in this testing time, especially, Kendayl! Girl you are in the fight of your life, but I've seen you play enough softball, to know that you will fight with everything you have! Be strong!
    Our Prayers are with you,
    Lacy, Cathy & Joel Robinson

    OK

Great family, very close and that is what it takes to succeed against cancer. Cancer is really playing a major role in all our world. As all of U have said, let's pray, let's battle, let's give to cancer research, what ever we can do to wipe out this disease. No one deserves the pain and the struggles Kendayl has to face so let's fight to prevent as many cancer's as possible. We are making progress, at least curing or slowing down the disease.
LOL to Kendayl and her family, I know we will see her around the softball fields by summer.

    Kendayl

I'm sure I have seen Kendyal on the ball fields somewhere, but don't know her personally. We are praying for you and your family. When I read this post it broke my heart because I think all of us know that it could be our DD, and I know I would be devastated. After reading more posts from those that do know her, she sounds like a real fighter as my DD is and would be. Sometimes we parents get our strength from our children at times like this, when it should be the other way around. I will add you to our prayer list at church. God is good all the time! Keep your FAITH and fight with all of you've got. God Bless you and your family!

Certainally a hard time for your family but if your local softball family can do anything while you are in town just let us know. You will be in the thoughts and prayers of all of us. We have a great group of parents and girls that would do anything we could to help while you are in town. I am sure we have seen your family around the field but even though you do not know us we are part of the big family of softball that will always come together to support each other in these times.Reagan High School Softball

    From the Carolina Cardinals-McHone

We know (seen) Kendayl from travel ball and know her faith is strong. She and her dad have attended the Sunday School that the Carolina Cardinals-McHone have had before on Sunday mornings during a tournament. She is a sweet young lady and know she will be back on the field before you know it! As a nurse as well as a parent we know she has a long road ahead. Keep on smiling as we have always seen you and we will see you soon. All of our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you go through this.

Hey Fastpitch Coach, not being a doctor gives me the excuse of ignorance on medical terms. My dad had what was called "non-hodgins lymphoma". At least thats what I remember as a "name" goes. Is that what Kendayl, her family, and HER TBR family are looking at here? I kinda think I'm in the ballpark on her diagnosis, so much as one outsider might be. My dad faced the unpleasant treatments given to him, AND WALKED AWAY IN FINE HEALTH. Kendayl will do the same! Gods got a plan for her. You can bank on that!

as a nurse myself, i'm sure you birdmom and i will agree to this point. trust in your God, trust in your medical staff, trust in your parents and families love for you, and most importantly, trust in yourself Kendayl. be strong, ...what does that mean to a child? my answer, for what its worth, is to trust in your mind and the remarkable results derived from the simple (easy for me to say) use of positive thinking! trust and relax kendayl, you are in good hands. you can do it! love from all, play safe.
