Looks like SAM ALLEN has step up to lead this team. He has 3 or 4 HR in the last 3 games. Way to go DEVILS

    Mooresville 7-0 conference

Mooresville pulled out another 1 run decision over Statesville. Shaky defense, shaky pitching, but power again prevails. Aubrey didn't have his best stuff, middle relief was pretty good, but little bro AAron Meadows again saves the day. Beaver may not be pitching to the high standards we all expected this year, but his bat has awakened. He has been on a tear since conference started.

    Mooresville Blue Devils

Where is the love for the Blue Devils from Langston's Sweet 16? :flameme:

Hopefully that wrong will be righted in tomorrow's sports section!

    Blue Devils

Yeah Mooresville's Bats are alive and well. Freshman Jon Crucitti was 4-4 last night with 1 HR and the other hits were power. Beav hit the big shot in top of 7th (2 run HR). The hitting is excellent on this team 1-9. What worries me is how deep is our pitching. Gotta get the Beav back in action. Can't go deep with only 2 pitchers throwing consistent baseball, especially one catching 95% of the games.

Mooresville loses 9-2 to Lake Norman in one ugly game for the Blue Devils. One surprise sophmore Ian Walters pitched good but had no help on defense as 4 runs scored in bottom 6 on nothing but defensive errors. Walters got the ground balls and popups. One ugly game, but hopefully Devils can bounce back Monday vs Maiden.

you can not win with a two man pitching rotaion. Some one has to step up and throw the ball for strikes.

Can anybody get an update of the standings for me please, I believe Mooresville is one and West Rowan two, but after that all is a mystery. I believe that Northwest Cabarrus, Lake Norman, and North and West Iredell are all in a logjam for the final three playoff spots, with Statesville and Carson longshots to make the playoffs.
