    Huge win for the Patriots. Dyson was awesome on the mound and the Pat defense played an error free game. They'll go for their 4 straight win tonight but it will be a tough game against West Henderson.

    Thursday scores:
    Chase 2, East Burke 0
    West Caldwell 2, Enka 1
    (I was given these 2 scores at the gate when I arrived and not sure how accurate since everyone was clearing out)

    Brevard was ahead of Freedom 4-1 in the 4th with the bases loaded when the rains hit. Not sure of a makeup on this.

    West Henderson vs McDowell for the championship was rained out. That game will be played at McDowell at 7:00 next Wednesday.

    It is hard to believe East Burke has lost 3 games in a row (all shutouts) when they gave South Caldwell all we could handle last week. East Burke was so fired up for the entire game and really focused and hustled throughout the entire game. South has been getting everyone's best shot all season though.

    West Caldwell ended up winning 4-2. Two straight great performances by the Warriors. The CVAC 2A should be real interesting coming down the stretch with 4 pretty good teams for the second playoff spot.
