    South Meck- 6
    Providence- 2

    WP- Tyler Woods (7 IP)
    LP- Elliot Carol

Woods had the Providence batters off balance all day with a very effective curveball. Providence's bats were shut down with his pitching. Providence used 4 pitchers...Carol (1 1/3 IP), Clifford (3 IP), Hurst (1 IP), Dunn (1 2/3 IP). The loss drops Providence to 8-5 on the season and a 3 game losing streak.

    Independence- 0 2 3

Alex Wood pitched a 5 inning complete game giving up 2 bloop hits. The game was only 3-0 going into the 5th inning, but some costly errors by Independence blew it open. Providence ends their 3 game losing skid and is now 9-5

Ragsdale 15-0, 9-0 on the season.

I only saw a couple innings. Ragsdale was up 6-0 when I left. Glad to see a little warmth to go with the wind today.

Kyle Miller knocked his 3rd homerun of the year. Jon Sharpe got the win going 5 innings giving up 2 earned runs. He opened the game with 5 straight strikeouts. Watauga swung the sticks extremely well opening the game with a double, a lineout, and three singles. Almost went back to back in the 4th when kyle hit his homerun next batter Adam Church hit one off the top of the fence. Good game Watauga just came out swinging.

    Providence- 9
    South Point- 8

This was a great game. South Point jumped out to an early 5-2 lead after 3 innings, but in the bottom of the 4th, Providence's catcher, Matt Lee, hit a 2 run homerun over the leftfield fence. After Andy Clifford completed his second full inning in relief with a shutout 1-2-3 inning, Providence scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th. With the score now 6-5 in the top of the 6th, South Point scrapped 3 runs across off of 3 different Providence pitchers. South Point now led 8-6. In the bottom of the inning Drew Cassella led off with a double in the gap, and then pinch hitter Ben Harton delivered a clutch basehit that scored Cassella. Jordan Fuller closed out the game for Providence with an easy top of the 7th inning. In the bottom of the 7th Drew Casella hit an infield single, and then Michael Dunn delivered a perfect hit and run into right field that scored Cassella, now tying the game. Dunn advanced to 2nd, and then South Point intentionally walked Corey Smith. Then Matt Lee flew out to centerfield. Next batter Alex Wood walked which loaded the bases. Providence sent up pinch hitter Michael Avery who worked it to a full count. Then he hit a line drive up the middle that tipped off the pitchers glove and beat it out to first base scoring the winning run. This game was well played throughout and the bats were very good with both teams having double digit hits. Providence is now 10-5 on the season.

    GREAT GAME

North Davidson and West Forsyth went 10 innings then the game was post poned. They will finish this Thursday with limited pitching, since both have other games this week. The score IS 7-7. ND has about 2-3 players with 2 hits or more, and West has 2-3 with 2 hits (Coyle is now 4-5, and batting .700+ in Conference and is 6-0 on the mound). Both teams made combacks in their 1/2 of the 7th, this was a fun game to watch....Can't wait to see the ending!

Tabor JV beat Davie CO. for the 2nd time this year in 10 innings. Sam Grote for Tabor went 3-4 and had a walk off single in the bottom of the tenth. Turner Simpson and Reese Wells pitched.
