Ryan Leach hit the first batter of the game who then scored on a Bumgarner double. Leach then returned the favor in the bottom of the 6th by doubling in a run to tie. ER holds in the top of the 7th, though SC threatened. Their leadoff batter struck out with runners at 2nd and 3rd to end the inning. First pitch bottom of the 7th, Michael Milam drills a shot into the woods over right center.

Both pitchers were excellent. Bumgarner had 3 hits. Not much else happening for SC. I'm guessing East had 4 hits total, maybe 5, but they counted.

    ER...2
    SC...1

dang - no details. Farmer is a haul from Jamestown so I decided to stay home this Friday night. First I heard of the score.

Tough to win a road game in this conference. Ragsdale will need to find a way to win at Randleman or E Randolph if they want to win the regular season.

    Butler 7
    Audrey Kell 3

Buler wins again behind Matt Robinson, who pitched the full game with stellar defense from Drew Gerhinger and Derek Blanton in the middle infield...turned 3 double plays to shut down rally's from AK

Gerhinger was 2-4 3r HR, dbl
Wixted 1-4 Big hit and 2 RBI
Mickey Brewer 2-4 Hit the ball hard every AB
    Derek Blanton 2-3 run scored
    Matt Crump 1-4 RBI

all details I could get...Butler 9-0 in conference

    Chapel Hill 7, Person 2

Person had a rough night defensively with 6 errors in the field as we lost to Chapel Hill 7-2 in PAC-6 action Friday night. We managed 9 hits but failed to get timely hits and left runners in scoring position in the 1st, 2nd (bases loaded), 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th innings. We just did not play well in the field. Elliott Tolley pitched a heckuva game for us, throwing only 98 pitches and he forced CHapel Hill to hit a ton of ground balls. We play Chapel Hill again in Chapel Hill on Tuesday night.

    Records:
    Person 8-8 (4-3)
    Chapel Hill 6-8 (3-3)
