Predictions for Legion 2007

not sure if he's gonna try to do both, but jimmy messer is playing showcase ball for the Charlotte Heat 17-U team this summer.

 

ummm no he told me today during pratice that he was playing legion

 

area 3 northern division

in the northern divison i would look for asheboro to be good as usual,with winston salem behind them, kernersville should finish 3rd at worst possibly win the divison with the pitching they have returning and what there adding. i assume burlington will be good as usual. after that the bottom of the league is up for grabs.

we actually called it a maddie. bomb just didn't do it justice.

saw another maddie last week. the jacobs kid from kernersville glenn hit one against us in our easter tournament that can only be described as a maddie.

 

maybe madison dont no about poovey though because of his arm

 

Any opinions on Cherryville

Any one have any idea how good post 100 is going to be... I think they have some college boys coming to play this year in Finger and Henderson is coming to pitch. Any other input? It is always a good season when post 100 is good along with Caldwell and Shelby. Makes for good games.

 

I will be surprised if Stanly doesnt win it this year. Rowan lost alot this year and i think Kannapolis at 5 is a stretch as well. They dont have much coming this year. Both Kannapolis and Northwest are having down years. Gurley and Hosack might be back but pitching is pretty thin after that. Concord has alot coming back this year and made huge improvements last year. Dont count them out of finishing top 3-4 this year.

 

the jacobs bomb be described as a maddie i doubt that. dont get me wrong jacobs can hit it far, he has hit some balls far but none off any good pitching like maddie. jacobs will drop moon shots as long as its below 80mph, any higher then that its all opposite field.

oh yeah speaking of a maddie i remember he hit the house across the road in the legion state championship game. game 2 that is

this is W.D. I have been keep up with you and you are having a great year. If you can get Madison and Poovey to play Legion you can win the state title and make a real run at the World Series. I am going to try and come watch you guys play if I can get a game on a day we don't play
