Crest maintains first place with their win. Nathan Harrill had 2 hits with 3 RBI's. Adam McFarland also went deep for the Chargers. Jordan Robinson got the win as he pitched a complete game for the Chargers.

Crest is now 7-1 in the Big South and 12-5 overall.

Messer goes to 9-0 on the year tops in the state.

I'm not sure any of the teams in Caldwell benefited by the matchups between themselves due to South being so much better. In the 4 games played against West Caldwell and Hibriten, South outscored them 65 - 0.

    Riverside/Enloe

    Riverside 8
    Enloe 6

Riverside almost let this game slip away in the bottom of the sixth when Enloe went ahead with a 5- 4 lead. Enloe did a great job keeping fresh pitchers on the mound.

Heels, I have to confess that I'm offended by your remarks. You are Holt's Father, aren't you? If so, why are you speaking about issues that don't concern your son?

Even if you aren't Greg's Dad, you need to keep unfounded criticism to yourself. You have Zach's pitch count wrong. And you don't know other behind-the-scenes details either. North Davidson's staff take great care of their pitchers. And Zach's parents follow this very carefully.

I suggest you enjoy West's mega-season & leave coaching to knowledgeable people like Coach Pope & Coach Meadows.

Now you made us curious. How many pitches did he throw?
