Tusculum played a sloppy game. But Kevin Hammons (SAC pitcher of the year) really came through for us and keep them off the bases. He got some big double plays when we needed them. Carson-Newman and Newberry play at 3:30. Tusculum will play the loser of LR and Catawba who plays at 7:30 tonight.

I will do my best to update every chance I get, but if anybody can find out scores please post them.

Just an update, CN and Newberry were palying and the thunderstorms came in and right now the game is cancelled but they are trying to get it in. LR and Catawba has been cancelled till the morning because of the delay to the CN/Newberry game. I'm not sure what the score was but hoepfully if the storm moves out they can get the game in tonight.

Just another update for everybody. Wingate went on to beat Newberry and Newberry is now out of the tournament. Tusculum went on to beat LR to eliminate them from the tournament. Brandon Tuten threw an amazing game for the Pioneers to lead them to the 7-1 win. CN and Catawba at 12 tomorrow followed by the loser of that game playing Wingate for an elimination game at 3:30. The winner will go on to play Tusculum at 7 tomorrow night.

:censored: I don't know what happened to LR the later half of the season, but they weren't the same team they were during most of the season. I hate that for them because it appeared they were in for a magical season. Coach Pait certainly deserved to go out on a better note. He did a marvelous job coaching this year.
