    Some would say

Some would say: The Cardinals, Lady Blues, Dominators, and these are GREAT organizations! But there are many more teams out there that are great as well! Yes, those 3 teams are widely known, have huge connection list, lots of mu-La, travel extensively!
There are lots of TB teams in the area, you just have to decide what you are looking for. How much travel are U wanting to do? (Do U want to see the state or the country?) How much money do you have to invest? (Is there a budget or are U willing to take out a loan?) What level of competetion are u looking for? (Extremely GOOD or Just playing for fun, mostly?) What kind of committment are u looking to give? (Are U wanting to be gone EVERY weekend or just 1 weekend a month?)
These are all questions you have to know the answer to in order to make the correct decision for you and your DD! Not every team fits with every family! Good Luck in your quest! I myself have billions of memories from TB!

The team that has players and a coach that contacts the coaches of programs they want to play for will get the looks that count.

Teams don't get looked at Players get looked at so your question should be what Players are getting looked at not teams.

    Love it

This question has been asked in so many different ways but I think I can provide at least my feelings about the best way to get a player seen.

First, it takes a total team approach which includes the player, the parents, the travel team coaches, and hopefully HS coach. If U have this team in place and they work together U are almost 100% sure of going to some college to play softball.

Each ot these people have their roles:
Player: Must decide with assistance of parents what colleges provide the major she is seeking if she knows, and make a list of those schools so the contact process can take place. She should share that list with her coaches and get their feedback as well as they may know more about the school or particular college coach. Once decided on the colleges, the player must communicate with college coaches providing HS and travel ball schedules as well as continued follow up as the game schedules are provided for the tournaments. Keep her grades as high as possible and do well on SAT and or ACT.

Parents: Must support their DD and assist her with the choice of schools and make sure they support the time and effort it takes to get her abilities to a point of playing college balls, they must also assist in drafting e-mails to college coaches. Push their DD to keep grades high.

HS Coach: Should e-mail college coaches as well as a follow up to players e-mails and work with her to obtain the skillset for college ball. Stress good grades as well and challenge her to take AP classes.

Travel Coach: Must put together a quality, competitive summer schedule where the DD can get the most exposure to college scouts. He must also develop quality workouts, skill improvement drills, and plans to assist the player to continue to improve on her game. He must e-mail college coaches on behalf of all his players and push the coaches to attend his teams games. This can take 10 hours a week if done right and to be successful travel team U have to do it. Having a quality team with quality coaches is a huge benefit. If U have a great team and attend the right tournaments, the more coaches come to see U play as U will be placed in the better brackets against the best teams. If college coaches can see two quality teams play at one location and in the same game, they also benefit.
It is extremely important to be on a good team as many of the top programs will not spend time watching teams without a reputation. Several SEC schools have made the comment that unless U play for Cardinals or Blues in NC it will be difficult to get seen. This is not me saying this as I feel there are many good organizations in NC and many good teams. However for someone to say it is players and not teams obviously has not been in the business a long time.

Let's talk about tourneys: Plantation Fla. 200 teams 2400 players, 300 colleges: Colorado: 100 teams, 1200 players 150 coaches, ASA Nationals: 140 teams 1600+ players, 250-300 coaches, what are the chances of your DD getting seen at any of these w/o some leg work before U attend?

U see it takes a very good team working hard to get a player recruited! Even doing all this a certain amount of luck must enter in to the mix. Not to say that someone can not get all this w/o this effort but more will not succeed than do succeed by depending on playing on a travel team and not doing all this work. U decide what U want to do with your DD! I don't claim to have all the answers and I still wonder why some college coaches do as they do but I have been successful by following this plan.
Now send the critics forward and I hope all of U have a wonderful weekend.

One comment was made about big bucks, the Blues do fund raisers of many types, seek out the best travel prices, have monthly pay plans, and only play 5-7 tournaments a summer and 10 for entire year. We pick quality over quanity much like Cardinals, Curve, Flames, Tri-angle Lightenings,
