    Got 4 from ACR

I dont care for the "best" scenario, because "best" is subjective and conditional - way too many variables that play into describing someone as "the best". So rather than say "best", I will say that ACR has 4 strong players in:

    Ian Haley
    John Hinson
    Kyle Paeplow
    Sam Runion

Each one of these guys has strong tools to offer - from fielding, to hitting (power/average), pitching (speed and/or location), and catching. 3 of the 4 are currently D1 signees, and the 4th is more than qualified.

    Just my .02.........

The entire South Caldwell team! NO just kidding. They are all solid, but you have to mention Madison, Messer, and Poovey.

Shane Clawson, SC (the leader) and Ethan Moyer, WHS (the ultimate team player).

Those are two names that I love to watch play....but there are many others like Maddy, Poovey, Messer, Coffey, Runion, Hinson, Dunnigan, Hardee, Wallace, etc, etc. I have to remember all of the schools in this conference.

One who has done a great job for SC this year is Leprevost. (sp) Caught most of the games and hit the ball very well. He has had some key hits. Defensively Shehan is probablly the best SS in the conference don't do a lot with the bat though.

I think Leprevost is a very underrated player. Not everyone can handle a 90+mph fastball and that nasty deuce of Messers. Swingin the bat well this year too. It's easy to overlook players on such a star studded squad (thats poetic alliteration right there).

Having umpired ALOT of NW-4A games this year, I thought I'd weigh in....
Having said that, I have not seen AC-R this year so will not include anyone besides Runion who I remember from last year....

Oh yea, please excuse my (mis) spelling:

Bumgarner, Messer, Harrington, Attaway, Runion, Chavis (can't believe nobody has mentioned him), Clawson, Seivert, Attaway (both of them), Hardee, Dunnigan, Moyer, Parham (can't think of a great 2B in the conference, but he's pretty good).

Most important to umpires - a good catcher (again haven't had AC-R):

Chuck Lapravo - gets low and blocks everything! Pretty good arm and can hit as well. Look forward to seeing him behind the dish this Legion season.

Sorry McDowell & E. Burke can't think of anyone really outstanding...

    How about coaches:

Parham - one of the most competitive people I know, he'd get jacked up about a game of horseshoes. Very down to earth.

Hardee - great motivater, very smart, makes the most out of his talent

Flea - hate to see him go, old school baseball coach - will miss him chirping "it ain't low" on a pitch

Comer - fun, loves baseball, knows his stuff so you always have to be on your toes

Cozort - really nice guy although I had to confine him to the dugout once for cussing ... other than that he just doesn't have much to work with

Freedom's new coach - sorry don't know his name yet, but looks like he's turned that team around quite a bit, needs to work on argueing - kinda weak in that aspect.

AC-R's coach (from last year) - fiery and competitive, does complain a little too much about little stuff, but a good coach.
