How many spots per position do they give out?

watching and reading this shows you what being on a winning team does for you in terms of exposure. Have to search harder to find the guys that make a difference on teams with lesser records.

    East Burke

This was the hard-luck team of the year, losing several close games.
No NW4A team gave South Caldwell a scare like these guys, losing 6-2 and 3-2.
With Josh McDaniel on the mound, they can beat anyone.
He is also a good hitter and excellent fielder.
Also have high quality players in Kinly (rf),Roney(p/inf) & Chiz(3b).
BTW, Kinly has the best outfield arm that I saw this year. He gunned down a fast Watauga player trying to go from first to third, which ended up being a huge play in EB's win.

Harrington is a stud but the two positions he plays has freaking awesome players.

He pitches and plays short. Well pitcher is clearly Bumgarner. Messer gets second team IMO. Short definetly goes to Hinson.

Check out Impact Baseball's dream team and you will see that it's customary to shift players around. They have John Hinson listed as a dream team (first team all-state) outfielder.
You generally get 4-6 pitchers on these types of teams.
BTW, there is no distinction between 1st team and 2nd team, so it's a moot point.
You are either lumped into all conference or honorable mention.

Dustin Harrington is the best player in the NW4A and maybe the state. He is an unbelievable 5-tool talent and has the Jeter-like ability to make the big play and he makes everyone on his team better. He will be an impact player at ECU...no doubt.
With all due respect to future millionaire M. Bumgarner, Harrinton gets my vote for the best inthe league!

I dont know about Bumgarner now....he got the loss tonight at AC Reynolds which could drop him off the list possibly. Harrington deserves to be on there somehow and I think everyone would agree. But now you have to look at Messer for pitcher and McDaniels and Runion. It could be interesting.

    Don't be too hasty

Bumgarner for sure stays on the list. As you may recall, he's not too bad of a hitter, too. As in, pitch around him every chance you get. Runion would be No. 2 if they handed that out.
