    Here is a look at the rule from the Tennessee TSSAA handbook. I'd like their game limit, but notice their summer restrictions.....

    9. Softball – The first practice date is the Monday of the week of February 15; the date of the first contest is Monday, 10 weeks prior to the week of the Spring Fling; the maximum number of games is 36; the maximum number of tournaments is five, with each tournament counting as four games; no off-season practice is permitted; in the summer there is a maximum of 10 days of school-against-school competition (exception -- there is a two-week dead period the week preceding the Fourth of July and the week of the Fourth of July).

    They would be playing travel ball during the summer. I'm sure they can do the short/unorganized type practices? Anyway, I think the key would be to play as many as allowed, against the best competition possible.

    achs beat watauga 7-1. megan laxton got the win (7k`s). MEG CHAPMAN AND KIRSTIN MORRIS HAD 3 HITS EACH. the win ups the overall recore to 21-1(11-0) in conf. the jvs also won from ac 10-0.the jv record is now 17-2(11-0) in conf.

    achs goes 12-0 in the con with a 5-0 win over south caldwell. megan laxton had 11k`s. ac plays sat at 6 at home vs reagan.the ac jvs also won 10-0 to finish 18- 2 and 12-0 in the con

    Hasson with the win, 7 k's, 5 hits allowed-
    Hudson with the loss, 1 k, 8 hits allowed-

    Freedom is 20-4 overall, 10-2 in conference

    McDowell beat AC Reynolds 11-6... McDowell was loosing 0-6 in the bottom of the 3rd inning.. In the 4th inning McDowell had some base hits scoring runs.. in the top of the 7th it was 5-6 then the Lady Titans drove in 6 runs to win the ballgame 11-6. The Lady Titans are 3rd place in conference
