Last night while coming home from the prom one of our Jr players was in a vehicle accident. The passenger in the car Anna Bullock was killed. She was a 15 year old soph at South Granville HS. Justin Norwood one of our players was seriously injured and is in Wake Medical Center. Another one of our players was behind the accident and was the first one to arrive and witness the death of Anna. Needless to say this is a very emotional time for him as well. Please pray for these two boys and all the students at South Granville HS. And especially the parents of Anna Bullock she was their only child and the love of their lives. Anna was a volleyball player at South Granville and a very sweet and loving young lady. The last time her parents saw her was at 5:30 that evening taking pictures with her date to the prom. Please take the time to say a prayer for them they need all the support and prayers they can get. Thank you.

Oh my. Very, very, unfortunate. It's so sad to see the lives of young ones taken, especially positive young student-athletes such as girl mentioned here. The families of these children will be in our prayers. We can only hope there was no alcohol involved.

    No

No alochol was invloved. The roads were slick from the rain and they had just left the bowling lanes where they had gone after the prom. It appears he ran off the road and then jerked the car back on the road and lost controll. Thank all of you for your prayers.

Okay, well that's a good thing Coach 27. It's still an EXTREMELY tragic situation and it doesnt make it any easier on the families, but it's good to hear that it wasnt alcohol related. You hear alot of stories nowadays about alcohol and drugs causing death on prom nights, it's a scary thing to send your kids off to prom. I was apprehensive about sending my daughter and thankfully she came home alright. Once again, our hearts out to these two families. May the lord bless you.

Our prayers for the SG family

Is this not our greatest fear as parents? Every moment is precious with our children, they can be gone in an instant.
