Kenny-- I heard about it from Kevin this morning. I had seen it on WRAL but wondered if the Norwood kid was one of yours... I thought so. He will definitely need prayers as he deals with this for the rest of his life. Man, what a deal... I do know however, that you and Kevin have the tools to help this young man overcome and move on... survive this. If there's anything I can do to help, just let me know, I am right down the road!!

    So sorry

So sorry to hear of this terrible tragedy. I will be thinking of and praying for all involved. As many know my daughter who a very good athlete at West Henderson was paralyzed from the waist down in a traffic accident last year and it has been very difficult to get over. I can not even imagine the pain of Anna's family....so so sorry....and I am glad to still have my daughter to to talk to ....something Anna's family no longer has....I just hope God will step in and help all those hurt by this....This story just rips my heart out.

we are so saddened to learn of this tragedy - surely no words can help ease the pain, but maybe knowing that others are remembering these families in their thoughts and prayers can help a little....

Everytime I read a story like this, I can't help but think: 'It could have been one of my kids.' I can't imagine how this must feel, but raising a prayer is the least I can & will do.

    Thanks

Thanks guys. Justin is now in fair condition and recovering from his injuries. He has some broken ribs and a fractured hip. The doctors say he will not require any surgery and should recover fully. We are thankfull for that. He is having a hard time with the fact that Anna did not make it. Another of our players is having a real hard time because Anna was his date and he allowed her to get in the car with Justin instead of riding home with him. Also he witnessed the accident and was there by himself for a period of time at the crash scene. Our team is attending Anna's funeral today. We have to get them back on the field this afternoon and begin to prepare for our game on Friday. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

What a horrible deal...rips my heart out to hear stories of this nature. May God be with you Anna. To Justin...have faith in the Lord, for that is truly the only way you will ever be able to deal with this situation. Stay close to them Coach and may God bless you and your team, family & etc
