2A (West) Wild Card Records

There are four wild cards to be dealt.

Please list the Teams and Records of the 5th place teams in the:

-Western Athletic Conf.

List the 4th Place Teams and Records for:
-Western Highlands Conf.
-Rocky River Conf.

List the 3rd Place Team and Record for:
-Southwestern Conf.

 

Please list the conference and overall records. This is just for informational purposes and to give an idea of who may get the wildcards. Does strength of schedule impact the wildcard selections or is it simply overall records?

Chase 8-15 overall, 5-10 conference.

I think chase's overall record is 8-14 posssibly 8-13. (not a major difference in what you had) They only played 5 or 6 non conference games and I know they won 3 of those. Considering East Rutherford (by far best in the state), Shelby (great and underrated 2A team), and RS Central are in that conference and Chase had a winning record against 3A competition, I think they deserve a wild card.

 

8-15 was the record posted in the local paper this morning. Chase is a young team whose time will come, but their are many teams ahead of them in the wild card this year. This is decided by team winning percentage (not counting Conf. Tournaments) only, no strength of schedule is considered.
