    hackett's first name is Jody. I agree that Moyer is definitely the top hitter and pitcher. Other than him, besides Cockman, Areno, and Hackett, a couple other big names are Medley and Veneble

    Whats everyones predictions for who will come out as the 3A west champ? Who are some of the teams to beat?

    Ive only seen Parkland play a couple of times but from what ive seen they are really young, i think they start 6 or 7 sophmores, and only have two seniors, pitching is something i saw that was suspect, bats are decent but they won't outscore many teams, and really have to rely on young arms and defense, but lately they've found ways to win from what ive seen in the paper.

    Young they are. Agree the bats are up & down. The fact is three seniors, one young junior and the rest are sophmores. Scrappy has been their ID. Pitching is what it is. They have faced and defeated teams that have pitched the best, they like the challenge, I think.
