    Do we really need all these extra teams in the playoffs especially in the 1A wild cards who have records like 1-15-1, 1-22, 2-17, this is getting to be like football. Why dont we just let everyone make the playoffs !!

    It's about MONEY< MONEY< MONEY. More #'s of teams plus extra dollars = cash.

    Unfortunately it will stay this way. It is all about the money that the extra games bring in. The schools only get a small portion of the gate money, the rest goes to the state. So you can rest assured that the powers that be will keep it this way.

    Wild card records arn't any worse than some of the seeded teams so what is the difference. Actually better records than some seeded teams.

    It won't take long to weed out weeker teams wheather they are wildcards or seeded

    So who cares if some teams with loosing records play in the playoffs. A 64 team playoff is only one additional set of games. The extra spots allow the conference #3's and #4's into the playoffs. Sometimes those are decent teams. In past years they got bumped.
