    please post only what would be considered as "upsets" in the state HS playoffs start to finish.

    Richmond Co. over Person 4-2.

    This is a long distance to travel from Rockingham to Roxboro, wow. Basically the SC line to the Va. line almost. A good 125 miles.

    But a happy ride home for Richmond.

    congrats. to nicky schwab. hit a solo hr in the bottom of the 6th for the only score for the rebels.charlotte catholic has a very good ball team alot of class..

    Seed #3 Ledford from the Central Carolina over Seed #2 Starmount 6-0. Wasn't really an upset but considering the seeds I guess it was

    hayesville (#2)- 0

    these two teams are from the same conference with hayesville having a record of 13-4 and robbinsville with a record of only 2-17. This group of hayesville girls were a cocky group.

    I have to ask...

    How would a coach allow a team with that bad of a record to come into your place and scorch you for 22 runs????

    Was everyone hurt? Did the team quit and JV players invade their uniforms?

    Please elaborate on how they were beaten so badly.

    that is a mistake.....hayseville won 22-0.....play at cherryville friday.
