If the rumors are true of the administration turning away individuals at the gate to the game then so be it. This isn't football and there will be no discrimination against what fans make it in or not (if it happens). I believe that the softball team is also going to be having a game earlier in the day and there will definitely be a sizable number of people from that game that make it down to the baseball field. If it takes the administration turning people down to get in then thats what its going to be. Butler has earned the right to home field advantage and there is no reason to move the game to another site just to accomodate the crowd. I know that SC will be bringing plenty of fans to the game and thats going to add to the excitement, but I've played in plenty of games in the SC area to know that home field advantage is truly important. Everyone needs to stop worrying so much about the attendance and just muster up a few hours off of work to show up early to get a good seat. Butler has earned the right for home field and they will get it. Show up early enough and watch the softball game, they're pretty good. This is going to shape up to be a very important game and from what I've watched and heard about these two teams this really should be for the state championship. Whoever wins will more than likely win the state 4A. Good luck to both teams and their respective fans and parents. This is gonna be a good one.

I may be wrong but I think the home field was determined before the season according to where you fell in the bracket. That is why SC played at Crest Friday. So you hit home home field advantage purely by luck!!!!!! Better hope the luck continues tuesday!!!!

Trust me Andrew Smith is more than capable of hold any team to less than 4 runs also as far as letting fans in you can only hold so many and for safety reasons they have to cut it off eventually but everyone who pays for a ticket will get in

So what is the cut-off number according to the safety proceedures for your facility? Or is it just some made up bunch of crap to try and one up the SC fans? Sounds like you guys are a little worried about tommorrow and don't have enough confidence in your teams abilities. Well winners find ways to win and losers always try to manipulate situations. Man I would just hate it if this come back to bite you guys.

Lots of people coming down from SC

I'm bringing a car load of people and leaving out by 2:30 from Hudson. We should arrive by 4:00. I would guess over 2000 people from SC will be coming at a minimum seeing that the last SC home game had between 3000 - 4000 people. I'm hoping SC will turn Butler field into our home field advantage with all the fans. If you've never experienced a SC game you will be in for a rude awakening with all the fan support and noise. We usually outnumber the home fans.

Careful...North Forsyth way 29-0 going into the regional finals last season. South had a few "L's" going into that series. North Forsyth finished 30-2, south went on to the state championship series.
