Michael is expected to decide soon. He is considering Mars Hill, Presbyterian, and Lenoir - Rhyne, maybe others.

Somewhat surprised that Howard would go CC route. Have seen him play lots since AAU days and has always looked like a D-I player. Has he had a good season? I know he started the year on fire with something like 5 HRs in 4 games. Where is he playing this Summer?

Is it really necessary for you to always have a negative comment about a student "going the CC" route? For those kids taking that route, they are just as athletic if not more so than a lot of other kids and in the case of my son, he was excited to have the opportunity to play at the next level considering the lack of support and help he received from his High School coaches. You had your same comments for him last year. Give the kids credit for being athletic and having the opportunity to continue their education and play at the next level. When the numbers are all added up, there a still numerous kids that play AAU ball and High School ball who are athletic who do not get the chance to play past high school so for those that do, it is a POSITIVE, not a NEGATIVE. It doesn't mean that their talent, aggressiveness and will to play dropped of at any point, so why question the year he had, could have been the best year of his career.

Hang on a minute! You know me and you should know I have never and would never be negative toward a player or his desire to continue pursuing his dream. The most important thing is for the player to continue developing. I am well aware of the quality of ball at that level and the best players typically transfer or graduate to the higher level schools. I am saying that the bigger schools are missing out on some serious tallent and thats all.
All I have ever done is support and promote players and frankly I feel the tone of this reply is undeserved.
