Some great pitching was a part of the playoff games tonight, please give us some feedback and details:

Chelsea Leonard: 20k's against Forbush, someone give us details as obviously Forbush kid pitched well.

Ashton Ward: Ashton at one time had struck out 11 of 13 batters faced against East Gaston, Update? The East Gaston pitcher did well also, a couple errors cost her a better performance. The SS and 3B for EG were awesome!

N Davidson/CC and others that had good pitching

    Thanks, RET:stirthepot:

    Morgan

Morgan just goes out and does her job! She is similiar to Meredith O'Connor, not flashy but no one can hit her! Morgan will be a great college pitcher as well, will keep hitters off balance.

Forbush's Lauren Harris pitched a great game in their loss to Central Davidson. About mid-way through the game she took a line drive off the side of her pitching hand. Definately hard enough to break bone. But she kept her composure and seemed to pitch even better throughout the rest of the game, holding CD to only 4 hits on the night. She's a tremendous competitor. Hope her hand is OK.

She had a tuff first inning. Loaded the bases and with two outs, the Central catcher hit an infield single between short and third scoring the only run of the game. Same girl lined the ball off Lauren's hand but she pitched a great game when everyone thought she was coming out after that. Lauren pitched a great game and Chelsea pitched just one run better.

Chelsea pitched just an outstanding game! EXCELLENT SPEED, and her pitches all moved good. I had the pleasure of talking to her after the game, and I was even more impressed with her. She wasnt satisfied with the way she pitched! Great girl, best of luck to her and her team the rest of the way!

    Student

Chelsea is a student of the game! She wants to know why U called a certain pitch, what she did wrong if she is not hitting spots, why U bunted in a situation, etc. etc. She will go far in this game and if she wanted to coach, would do a great job! We can't wait to get her with Blues this summer.
