    welcome ugottobekiddin to this board rocks softball forum. saw the attitude play last weekend, deserves to be on guru's list, good kids and have a sense of humor - ya have to have one of those to be around me - always cutting up.

    I saw them in a battle in Statesville last year with another team when one of their players got hurt pretty bad,had to take her out of the game...GOOD TEAM lots of aggressive ball players...Guru apologizes !!!!

    Yes, you are correct, she is only 13, and very solid! These girls played well, I think most are still in the 8th grade...two or three are in the 9th grade, and played varsity for their high schools. We are looking forward to a great summer and fall!!!

    Guru, I believe you have selected quality teams. Definetely need to add the Carolina Attitude! Kudos to their coach for taking this first year 14U team to play 16U and being very competitive last weekend.
    Carolina Curve-White is eligible for 14U but will play mostly 16's this summer.
    Jim Allen's Magic team will be tough to beat in 14's!

    Carolina Attitude 16U

    The Attitude has added a 16U Team Start playing next weekend in Rays tournament. Girls from North Davidson and Central Davidson Coach Plemmons from the 14U helping out with the team. Young but should be competitive

    you definately have to have the so called "little" Curve on that list.... however I am not sure they are even playing in the 14U state championships this year favoring instead to play mostly ASA showcase type events

    Thanks Cheeze. They are a gritty little bunch, but we are so young. one of our pitchers is in the 5th grade. (She struck several freshman varsity players!) I wouldn't say we are untouchable at 12U by any means either. These young ladies worked their rear ends off over the winter and it is starting to show. There are plenty of other 12U teams that are as good or better than us and others who will be there soon.

    Same thing with the 14U. There are several teams now that could play late on Sunday in most any 16U any tournament.

    Many of the teams mentioned will be in The Mighty Casey this weekend. Should be some awesome softball played this weekend.
