Messer is a big time pitcher!!!

It's going to be interesting for me to now see Messer going from the number 2 guy to everything being on his shoulders as the number 1. Messer is a great talent and has great things ahead of him

Way to go SC. I wish I could have been there. I knew from how well we hit it Friday night it was just a matter of time before we strung some together. It has been great to watch these guys over the years. I'm glad we won it all but I hate it is over for this group of senoirs. Got a good core of players coming back next year to build around.

Good job SC. I never doubted you guys would do it. Good to see the nw4a get a stated championship in any sport especially baseball, my favorite. Can't wait till next year. Do you guys think Bumgarner will play any legion ball. I know it will be a little while after the draft till he signs so he may be able to get in some games if not all of them. I'm sure the 29ers would take all they could get.

He will probably be advised not to play....if he signs he definately won't play.

You are right if he signs he will not play for sure but after getting drafted it will be a while before he signs. Could be a few months before all the details are ironed out. What would he do in the mean time. I don't think he would just sit and wait. He will want to play ball so legion would be an obvious choice unless he goes off to play in a wood bat league somewhere. I selfishly hope he plays legion but he needs to do what he wants and what is best for him. I wish him all the luck no matter what his decision

First I want to congratulate the team on a great year and also on the way they conducted themselves all year. They are truely a class act and a lot of that comes from having a coach that is a class act. I have enjoyed watching the games all year.
As for the the games Friday and sat. Friday we looked very tight. Made some mental mistakes that cost us some runs early. But it is understandable as they have had a ton of pressure on them all year. They were expected to win. I think North Davidson will see this next year. After the Friday win they came out relaxed and ready to play on Sat. you could see it in warmups. I knew when they put Maddy on intentionally and had to pitch to Chavis they were in trouble and he made them pay.
Great year for SC and thanks for the memories guys

scfan....it will be a personal decision but my son was advised not to play even though he didn't sign immediately. This was mainly based on potential injury prior to signing.....good luck to Madison and his family, it won't be long now.
