    WCU baseball

Steve Strausbaugh is a pre season all american right fielder for WCU who has an incredibly strong arm. He did not get the runner going to 3rd, however it was not beyond the realm of possibility. He has hosed runners trying to advance on him all year. This time it was costly. Strausbaugh will be playing at the next level next year.He is also a great person. One of the best games that you will ever see.Carolina would not want to play Western in Cullowhee.

    The Strausbaugh

kid is a great player. He tried to make a play. I dont have a problem with that. But if the throw had been down and would have been cut Ackley would have either been out or he would have been at first base. In that situation keeping the go ahead run from getting into scoring posistion was the play to make unless you know you have the guy at third. It was not even close as Cavasini was clearly going to make 3b. 007 is right WCU would have been behind the 8 ball so to speak if they had won but they would have had a shot. It was a great game and Western earned their respect with the way they played all weekend.
