    I wasn't trying to be disrespectful. I was just questioning why he deserved more than market value for his pick. Going 10th changes everything, but I was talking about going 20th and wanting 10th slot-money.

    I have said this many times; Madison has excellent counsel. His advisors have instant credibility and great relationships with ML clubs. As I said earlier, Madison's draft position increased because of Scott Boras. If you noticed, Porcello (rated the highest ranked HS pitcher) was not taken until much later..as well as Harvey (both Boras' clients).

    Madison's guys will continue to give him sound advice and will negotiate a fair signing bonus. The holdup will be with the negotiated other benefits (MLB contract, etc.); but they will be worked out before college starts in mid August.
