Congrats Coach S. on your new position!!! I have been told many times that I am a CC basher but all I really did was just throw a little lighter fluid on the already started fire. I still respect a good coach when I see one. There are only a few great softball coaches in this state and Coach S. is one of them.

Again, Good luck in the future!!!!

I know Coach Sherrill wanted this and I'm glad he got it. I will say this it was the worst kept secret in NC for the last several months

As a player of CCHS, I feel very fortunate to have played for Coach Sherrill. He is just a man and doesn't profess to be anything more, but as a coach he does a great job. He teaches a lot more than softball on the field. He encourages his players in all that they do, and gets on to them when they need it . Everyone that plays for him has the opportunity to walk away a leader, cause that's what he instills in us.
As far as your opinion of him, if you don't have something good to say you really shouldn't say anything. When you talk about him and the program you are talking about each and everyone of us girls and I feel like that goes on way to much on here. Would you want anyone bashing your kid?
We are all someones daughters and whether we win or lose, our parents are very proud of us. Unfortunately, people have put CCHS and Coach under a microscope and if we do something big or small it's blown way out of proportion. So yes as a player when you make fun of our losses I feel you are being hurtful to our feelings, and you should be ashamed of yourself.
We at CCHS have a very talented bunch of girls and we will be fine, hopefully under the guidance of Coach B., and I hope that the microscope will not be put on him like it has been put on Coach Sherrill.

I hope that you can learn a little something from a teenager.

    Have a blessed day. :]

It continues to amaze me that someone takes the time to register on the board for the sole purpose to attack a member. The single reason that TBR was created was to get away from those juvenile responses. There are many other websites people can go to do that...stay away from TBR.

Back on topic. I appreciate Coach Sherrill taking the time to announce his personal decision on TBR. That's the way it should happen vs reading rumors and hearsay. The man said he would post if anything changes in his position and he did.

If you don't like him...fine...keep it to yourself and ignore the thread. There are many other threads you can respond to.

Congratulations, Coach. I know you have reached a personal dream...to coach your own children. I wish you much success in the future.

    Thanks You!

    Coach S.
Thank you for all you have done for not only CC but many young Ladies in Cabarrus County and the surrounding area. You always made time to teach a willing young lady whether though your camps or individually even if they played on a opposing team. That's a true coach. My daughter was able benefit from your instruction and I am grateful for the opportunity she had with you.

Good luck at AC and I wish you and your family the best!!
