This goes out to ALL the girls on the Mudslingers. You ALL did an outstanding job this past weekend. You may have come in 4th out of 16 teams but you played like a first rate and first place team. There were teams there that all but spit in your face and acted like they were somebody, but the Mudslingers will not stoop to dirty play. Hold your heads high girls you are true champions on and off the field. PS Get well Browny and we love and missed you.

Man I wish we could have pulled that last game out but I think this was a great tournament for us...I really think we are starting to play as a team...There can only be good things to come...

PS...I hope Brown gets well soon we really need her...

 

She is going to be alright...Took a really hard hit on a head first slide into second off a steal...Brused some ribs and broke a finger...But she is tough...I'm sure she'll be ok...But had to be taken to the hospital...Just in case her back or neck was messed up...

Hope u get well browine we really do need you Thanks to all the mudslingers girls for giving me a chance at second. I don't play there alot and I was unsure about so things, so thankz to yhall who steped in an helped me with making sure i was were i need to be at the right time. I am sorry that i couldn't play the last two inning with yhall in the tournament i was really wanted to i would have rather been playing second crying from being hurt than sitting on the bench iceing it down. Casey thanks for getting mad a Bart when he told me to sit the bench it really meant alot to me that you cared enough to have me play with the team. I would also like to say thank you to Coach Mike and Coach Bart, I know it took alot to let me get on the infeild, seens how i am the younger one of the bunch. An you can't possible know how happy i was about that and when yhall both told me you were proud of me that really meant alot. Mudslinger yhall really played like a team, a well oiled machine, and we would have kept battling it out if it wasn't for the other teams cruelty on the feild and the umps favortism and being mad at Bart for no apparent reason.

Congratulations to the Mudslingers!!!!! You girls realyy played & worked hard! After suffering several injuries, overcoming some adversities,& facing some good competition, you came out a winner in my book. Casey you really held up with catching 3 games back to back. Pitching was good, not dominant, but the defense was allowed to show their stuff. Shot ourselves in the foot a couple of times, but battled back to hang with the big dogs. You girls are making a name for yourselves & as my old commander use to say, "when the going gets tuff, the tuff gets going!!" Great job ladies.

 

I'm Proud of my team!

I just want to say that I am so proud of the Mudslingers, and that they played great this weekend. I also want to thank everyone for backing me up 100% when I got plowed..but you can't blame that girl, she accomplished what she wanted..being safe at 3rd. She was just playing the game.
I also want to say we need to pray for Brownie because she's hurt pretty bad after that head first slide into 2nd..and we want her to get better as fast as possible. And the only way we can help is to pray for her! Hope you get better Brownie!
Newt and Nikki did really well at 2nd after Brown got hurt..and im very proud of Newt for wanting to keep playing even though she was hurt..
I just wanted to let yall know how good you did because we couldn't have done it without yall.
And finally I want to thank Nate for keeping score...you helped us a lot and we couldn't have done it without you either!

Thanks David...I glad someone noticed that...HAHA...J/K...It's my job so its no big deal...I'm happy to do it for a team I love...And to Newt...Anytime...I get mad at him alot so its nothing new...But he has taken me out a few times when I was hurt and I hated him for it...Thats a really good story I'll tell you that one sometime...but as much as I hate to say it sometimes he is right...I dont know if he was on Sunday but you just have to listen...And I hate that part to...OOO and you did great this weekend at second...OOO Yeah and to my sister...Kayla...I agree with you about everything...And I swear if that girl would have come home and I had a play at her I would show you what getting PLOWED really looks like...
