    WP-Howell No Hitter

    Henderson County had 2 games over a 3 week period and the boys were not ready for live pitching at all. The way Blain Howell pitched it wouldn't have mattered. He kept us off balance all day and struck out 11 batters. Asheville bats came to life early with John Hinson hitting a HR to lead off the game. He had a great game.


    Tuesday June 26

    WP Chris Silvers 3 Hit Shut-out

    Ethan Pressley 2-4 2HR's (2)
    Nick Eddy 2-4 Grand Slam (4)
    Luke Smithson 2 Doubles
    Kenneth Brandt 2 Doubles

    The Henderson County bats were on tonight especially Pressley with 2 opposite field HR's. He is a rising senior at North Henderson.
    Silvers pitched a great ballgame. He will be a Freshman at Mars Hill.

    Record 8-4 all conference games
    Remaining schedule:
    June 28 @ Rutherford
    June 29 Burke
    June 30 Taylorsville (Taylorsville has forfeited this game)
    July 1 Caldwell
    July 2 Shelby
    July 9 Cherryville

    It should be an exciting week of baseball. Last year we fell apart the last week of the season. :army:
