    Can you direct me to the money sugar hole where I can get me some of those travel funds???? We don't need quite as much as you, but just about 25% would be great.

    Champions Cup Schedule for 7/11/07

    Today starts pool play, which is also used for college exposure. Many college coaches will be in attendance today.

    Lady Blues Gold vs. So. Cal American Athletics GOLD 9:00pm EST
    Lady Blues Gold vs. Theres no Tomorrow (California) 11:00pm EST

    This team has worked many fundraiser to play on this team. Parents as well have helped with the fees for the girls. If it wasn't for the fundraising and the parents this would not be possible.

    This has been a great opportunity for these girls, many experiences they will remember. Both on the field and off.

    I hear ya coach , slugger put it best..The kids and parents have been working since last fall to build a war chest to cover these events..
    There are 97 other teams here with us that have somehow come up with the funds as well...I can't say for anyone but myself, but , I figured it was
    worth a few dollars and a little time to get my DD in front of all these coaches and give her a shot at getting a softball scholarship that could be worth anywhere from 40K-100K depending on the institution...I guess it depends on how far and how high you want to reach to achieve your goal.
    I can say that I have seen it with my own eyes...There is a big exposure bonus...College coaches are everywhere ....
    I wish all the NC 18U teams would at least try 1 tournament per year.. It
    would be great for all of your DD's to play these venues...I promise !
    I only wish we could have done it a year ago! Good Luck ...

    Lady Blues Gold Game #1 ends in a tie.

    Lady Blues Gold 5 vs. American Athletics Gold 5

    Courtney Feldon had an RBI double and Kristi Woodall had an RBI triple.

    Morgan Childers had 6k's in the circle.

    Lady Blues Gold win game #2 7-0

    Lady Blues Gold defeat California Theres No Tomorrow 7-0 behind the strong pitching of Christina Melton. She finshed the game with a one hit shutout.

    Kristina also helped herslef at the plate with a 2run HR. Corutney Feldon also had a double in the game.
