    south caldwells rising junior pitcher cody penny threw a no-no in legion b playoffs wed. he also came off the jv team and had a great game against north davidson in the 4a state playoffs last yr. he will team with cody poarch and jimmy messer to pitch for south next yr. guess the well keeps gushing.

    I'm tellin' ya Moose...it's that water up there. The "Cody's squared" are wonderful additions to next year's staff.

    talk about depth- josh severt pitched 1 inn for south caldwell last year and has not allowed an earned run for the legion team this yr. i think andrew berry did about the same thing last yr. i know that is not the topic here but i just thought i would throw that in.

    WHS has some good pitching coming back maybe not the overpowering stuff like South but i think it will do the job...i cant wait to see WHS vs South next year
