Actually Braves is correct for NC as The Dirtbags were the runner-up in the 17u last year not the 18u which was just completed. The Diamond Devils from SC actually won the 18u in 2004.

 

Mudcat- you are correct. The teams that play at this tournament and the one in Jupiter are playing to win. It's the only tournament I have seen (Showcasing) where teams sacrifice runners over...and the squeeze play is used.

 

Alright!!! I can keep my trivia question and stay on Andy's Christmas list. I knew that about the Diamond Devils because of Wil Boyd on that team. In fact, that team had Matt Weiters and I believe Justin Smoak, too.
