    Finally someone gets it.

I am not saying that the coach should or should not be a dad, just at the end of the day we are all dad's, teachers, MENTORS. Coach S sent me a message to voice his side of things, I returned the favor with names and dates to maybe help with my side. I did not want this to get ugly, but we are in America and there are soldiers fighting for us to be on this forum. I do wish the coach, players, family, community the best of luck in what they are trying to do. There is not a good, better, best, only different in this matter. In closing, I guess change will come as a blessing to the many teams effected by this. There may have been girls on the bench now getting extra playing time. We will still remain friends with our AC teammates and our bond has grown stronger with some of the parents. You may never find out who does not like the changes, but at the end of the games, practices, and tournaments, these girls who have spent countless hours together in the heat of battle will exchange hugs maybe a few tears and many phone calls, e mails, and text messages.

I love this sport and this forum. Time heals all wounds!

AC will be fine there CRAZYCAOCH. If there is a problem here we can handle it, but thanks for the concern.
You cant be the winningest coach in NC with out stirring the pot a little. We understand that.

I honestly don't think it can be considered "bashing Coach S" just because I said "I heard" they had a lot of good talent at AC, of which I was commenting hispeed anyway. It wasn't a "he said, she said" thing, I honestly hear they enough talented players in that county to have exclusive TB teams from that area. You're right, everyone has an opinion. I thought that's what TBR was for. And he definetely has my respect. If you check out my previous posts, I have never said anything bad about Coach S. Chill out wildmanone!!

CrazeCoach- I do not know you. I have responded to your private email. Let me say this, different parents/players will tell you anything to change teams or organizations whenever they are not 100% happy with a situation because of a coach, playing time, position played , etc. IF they want to use me as their scapegoat or reason, I am fine with that as long as the player benefits as a person in the long run. The player in question with the Craze Coach, wanted to go to the beach more often and wanted more family time with her church. If the player's heart is not into the game, why would you want them anyway.....
I will say this one last time. I do not care where or what organization a kid for Alexander County plays on, if they show up in Feb and can play the game to benefit our program , the player will be on my team. I play to win with the best players in my HS system. I am only trying to organize the network of Alexander County players based on what the player's parents are asking for. In fact, I do not even know the player's who may be in question in this situation. If you have AC players, then practice them hard and coach'em up good. :)
I can tell you this from my end, I want to build this organization from the ground up focusing on the 12u's and younger. If I can help practice these young players (8U, 10U, 12U), I will go at it with every resource I have available to practice and promote these players to reach their potential. I was very lucky at Central Cabarrus to make the needed contacts to the college ranks.
I did not have the Division 1 contacts during my early years at AC. I coached players like Leah Krohn at AC who could play with anyone or anybody at the Division 1 level. I feel like I almost failed Leah in the fact that I did not have the resources to promote or a team to establish her as one of the best players in NC.CFBall helped out the process by allowing her to play with his travel ball team.
All I am trying to do is promote the kids that I will touch base with at the HS level. I do not care if you coach them or if they play in a possible travel ball club we develop. I will tell you this, I will work hard to develop the players to play the game with a desire to excel, the proper technique of the skills needed, and knowledge of the game situations.
I am happy to see that you are interested in AC softball.

    Last comment, let it go......

THANKS ONE LAST TIME COACH AND ALL THE BANDWAGON SUPPORTERS!!!!! After practice Monday, I talked with a few more parents and understand a little more of what your trying to do. I DO feel like you are trying to do the right thing. I do not have to like it, true! I meerly sent the PM to you with examples so that you would know I was not making it up. I have said in many, many other posts that I wished you luck. If you look back at the posts from when you were at CC, I even supported you and said you would be welcomed at our school who CLEARLY does not have 1/10 of the talent or coaching you do! You are THE MAN! You get results! I just asked a question that some of your parents clearly didn't get the memo on in your Monday meeting. Good luck with your programs, I am done..............
