The secret weapon is Jessie Rappe who plays for the Carolina Curve White. Very good ball player. DD played with her in 12-14 with the Curve. She has a very good coach at home teaching her.

Agree with Abbey Fan, very expensive at every level, parents have just as much time in as players....too many times all the money goes to pay coaches and expenses related to coaches, that takes away from what is really important, the girls and the exposure for the girls, not the coaches!! We've played with teams at all levels, not impressed with "paid" coaches as much as I am the men and women who do it for the love of the game and girls!

I think game 124 is the Blues instead of the All American team. Even they didnt think a Carolina team could win in Oklahoma City. LOL!

    Bad News for the Blues

    Lady Blues Gold..............0
    SanDiego Renagades.......1

A great effort in the circle from Kandice Irwin goes for not. The Blues left bases loaded everywhere. Some of our hits were such good shots ,they got to the outfield so fast we could not score. Always right at the outfield. The renegades run came on a mis- comunication on cutting an outfield throw from Bethany Wells that would have stopped the only scoring threat of the game for the San Diego team.
Christina Melton hit one of several shots right at the Right fielder so hard that Juice could not score from 2nd. On the next at bat Kristi Giragosian one hopped the pitcher and the deflection went right to the SS who shot down Feldon at the plate. Heart breaking defeat as the Blues really out played them , but came up short.
    Rappe 1-4
    Juice Box 3-3
    Melton 1-3

    Nice pictures - One question?

I noticed both feet are airborne. Is this legal in ASA? I was just wondering because I've noticed it isn't called very much.

Great job Blues and thanks for making NC softball proud!

    Thanks!
