It's every kids dream that plays baseball to play ML baseball. Well, David's living his dream. He is absolutely one of the finest young men I have ever met--respectful, respected and talented--.

I had caught wind that David was being offered 2nd round money. It had to take that for him not to continue his higher education (at this point). Although David was going to attend a fine university in Wake Forest, what many people don't know is that he had strong thoughts of going to Duke (he has his mother's smarts:laugh4:). Here is a young man that has it all; athletic talent, academic talent and marketable.

I just hope he remembers ol' Braves when he becomes a ML'er.

I never really got to know david all that well, but i have been playing with and agianst him since i was 11 and 12 and i can honestly say that i respect him more than any other player i've ever played with. He is that rare combinations of hard work, pure talent, and a great attitude. He is the most moddest person i've ever played with. Congrats to him and good luck at the next level. I know i for one will keep watching him over the years, and i only wish him the best of luck.
