    Braves, I thought you knew better than to go there. You know how things get out of control with Legion, showcase,travel and player post. Now, you open up the BBQ subject. As we all know Lexington has the best. The plate post looks somewhat strange. No slaw, hush puppies and sweet tea. This post could be the down fall us all. Oh, bring me a couple back (sliced).

    Good lawd.....I ate so much that I had to carry my stomach out of there.

    Here's the thing: You have to wonder about a restaurant that advertises BBQ....and Seafood too. You would think they could only specialize in one.......wrong!!!!!

    McCall's kept filling the buffet pots with fresh seafood and the BBQ was so fresh I could hear the pig's in the back squealin'. Sawdawg, you were right. The BEST BBQ chicken I have ever had. The BBQ was very good (not Lexington standards), but very good. The seafood was outstanding and my waitress was very, very...pretty.

    Great choice!!!! I will do it again.

    So......

    best places to eat in G boro are Mc calls and in Wilson Beefmaster and where else? New Bern's BBQ at "Moores" as well as their BBQ and Fried chicken are the bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

    Stretchlon is Right!

    Haven't been there in awhile, but Beefmaster is primal beef-eating in the most simplest of forms. You will understand once you experience it. If there's a line to eat, they'll sell you beer and you can drink a brew or two in the parking lot while you wait! About the size of a double-wide trailer, it won't disappoint.

    Braves, can't wait to hear your review of the place. There's a lot of BBQ down that way, but Beefmaster is unique. Cut it thick and enjoy!
