kannapolis Vs Mooresville

does anyone know anything about Mooresville?

 

they're better than they have been in the past. they beat Bandys 22-0 to open the season. they did not play this past Friday. expect a decent game from them this time around. thats all i got right now.

 

MHS at K-Town

MHS has some good players but their coaches are terrible, They will be out coached in every aspect of the game.

Marsh should have been gone last year but cant figure out why he wasnt.
But Mooresville does have a good field since they are installing a artifical turf. Maybe a new field brings new coaching staff

 

Alexander Central missses Mooresville on the schedule. The Blue Devils opted out of the series that had been entertaining. It's hard to figure really when you consider that Alexander travels very heavy, they bring a lot of fans. The Cougars had turned the series around of late but still this was some good stuff. That triple overtime thriller a few years ago was great. Here's hoping that Mooresville will come to their senses and get the Cougars back on the schedule.

Here's the deal. after the opening of Carson HS in Rowan county, both E. Rowan and S. Rowan high schools were way, way down in numbers, like 2A numbers. they were both in 4A conferences at the time and i think they petitioned the NCHSAA to be bumped down to 3A before the next re-alignment. this doesnt happen all the time but they got their wish and both were added to the NPC 3A, which Mooresville happens to be in along with W. Rowan, Lake Norman, NW Cabarrus, N. Iredell, W. Iredell, Statesville and Carson. that added two more conference games to everybody's schedule and two non-conference games had to be dropped. Mooresville added Bandys and Kannapolis, both are tough opponents which are long time rivals and close to home to boot. AC and Davie Co. were dropped as a result.

 

Thanks, that makes sense. I can understand why Moorseville would want to keep playing Kannapolis and Bandys. They have played Ktown for a long time and Bandys is close and they usually travel heavy. We, here in Taylorsville would like to get the Blue Devils back on the schedule after re-alingement. Having 9 league games dosen't leave a lot of room. We have just the opposite problem with just 6 league games. Good luck to the Devils this week against the Wonders.

 

thanks man. i've been heading up to Taylorsville for the last 9 years and have seen alot of improvement at AC. the new facilities and competitive spirit in the football program are to be commended and i mean that. you've done well. i hate you lost your coach. we went through the same thing a few years back. maybe we'll get back up there soon.
