New Hopewell HS Coach

    The ex-Randleman HC has landed on his feet to become the new coach at Hopewell. It is a great opportunity for Coach Brown and the players/parents are going to love him.

    He's a great student of the game, a great developer of young men and has a special personality that allows him to get "after it" while staying close to the kids. Hopewell did well!!!!

    It goes to show that good things happen to good people

    What happened to Jamie Billings? Last time I talked to him, he had an offer to work as an assistant at WVU.

    Coach Billings took the AD job at Hopewell. Schundelmire is now the Dean of Students at Hopewell.

    Great job by Hopewell....Had the chance to get to know Coach Brown a few season ago when my son played for Impact....top notch Coach as well as a good man.

    Look forward to Coach Brown's future successes at Hopewell.:juggle:

    You cant keep a good man down!!!!

    I am so happy for Coach Brown. The people at Hopewell HS are in for a treat getting this guy. No one is going to outwork Coach Brown. And no one is going to work any harder for his players. This is truly great news all the way around.

    Make no mistake about it, it was a hard move for Coach Billings I'm sure - the guy eats, drinks and sleeps baseball 24 hours a day. So the compliments concerning coach Brown are no surprise as I know Coach Billings would do everything he could to insure the program was in good hands.

    I want to thank Coach Billings for everything he did for the Hopewell Program and wish him the best of luck in the future as the AD.

    Agreed 100%!!! Dave Brown is a top notch coach and first class guy!! Hard worker and student of the game. He brings alot to the plate for Hopewell!! Best of luck to Nab!!

    I can not express how happy I am to get a coach with the class, experience and knowledge that Coach David Brown possesses in Charlotte. Our city may have lost a good one in Billings, but we sure added another one in Brown.
