Immediate Thoughts & Prayers Needed

    A player at Providence HS in Charlotte collapsed while doing conditioning this afternoon and was rushed to the hospital. All we know at this time is that he is now reponsive. Please take a minute to keep him in your thoughts & prayers as I know it will help him.

    From former Piedmont HS parent

    My Prayers do go out to this young man and the Providence HS team. Piedmont knows what it means to have the prayers from other teams in times of trouble. Please keep all of us updated on the status of what is going on. Can we get the players name so we can be specific in our prayers.

    Update

    The player has stabilized and is resting comfortably in the hospital. He will remain there at least another 24hrs while they continue tests to determine what happened. Hopefully everything will turn out okay. Thanks for your comments and prayers.

    our prayers go out to this young man for a swift recovery, it was 101 on our field yesterday and we adjusted to our 20 min on the field, 10 min in the shade routine and still had some girls dizzy from the heat. hope everything goes well for him and he's back on the field asap.

    Update II

    After 2 days in the hospital and a bunch of tests the young man is now at home and will be able to get back on the field shortly. Thanks for having him in your thoughts & prayers as I know it helped.
