    A few years back, we had Nate's older brother Jordan playing for us and we were a player or two short for a tournament. Our guys were 15 at the time and Nate was 13. We took Nate to the tourney with us just to have enough warm bodies. We got a nice surprise. Nate played some 1st base, pitched a few innings and got in a few at-bats with a hit or two that weekend. What sticks out in my mind about the weekend was Nate was not intimidated a bit playing with the older guys, either offensively or defensively. I had a pretty good feeling he was going to turn out okay. Good for him.
