I m in need of the name of the best ortho doctor in the Charlotte area for treating muscle/tendon injuries to the shoulder and elbow. I have found in the past, family doctors sometime recommend doctors in their network, not necessarily the best doctor for the problem.

Sent you a PM reference Dr. Walton Curl in WS

Birdhunter, I sent you a PM but I will publically recommend Dr. Curl at WFU/BMC. He does upper body extremity injuries for the Wake Forest Athletes...

Dr. Perry is still working. He did all my surgeries.
Dr. Flieshley (Ortho Carolina) did my sons shoulder: Torn Labrum, torn rotater cuff

Both are excellent surgeons with a history of this type work on athletes.

Dr. D'Alessandro of Ortho Carolina is the best in Charlotte. He has worked on my son and several others in Charlotte.

Dr Patrick Connor is outstanding, Ortho Clinic as well. If you ask Alan Tyson, a nationally known physical therapist, he will recommend Dr Connor as well.

What I like about him is that he is not only extremely talented, but a personable Dr, too.

My son was treated by Dr. D'Allasandro and Dr. Connor. What I liked about them was that when they couldn't figure out exactly what was wrong with his elblow they referred him to Dr. Andrews in Alabama. Got to admire guys who can admit they don't know everything.
