No it was not a good night for Kincaid or the Titans. And this week won't be much better because East Burke is as good or better than Reynolds. It is amasing to me how many yards Buggy has run for this season with no more blocking than he gets from the Titan line. Imagine what he could do at Reynolds? I hope we have a huge homecoming crowd at McDowell friday night. And for the fans that only care about wins have faith,basketball season is only a few short weeks away and we will quickly make reynolds and watauga forget about football season.LOL

 

dont sleep on watauga when bball comes around lost seth moore but,they have some very good players comming up

Shatley reminds me of Dusty Powell who graduated from EB in 2000. Probably a better back. At least he doesn't have to carry the ball 35-40 times like Powell did.

 

Just think Shatley will be back next year. There is alot of talent on this years EB Team. Frogg, Boughman, Beck, Shatley and the Offensive line are capable of moving the ball on any team. If the defense keeps on improving, they should be one of the tougher teams in the state. I think this year the NW4A with ACR and EB, should be well represented in the playoffs.

 

Dusty was a hell of a back for his size. I've had the pleasure to work with him. He is now a NC State Trooper.

 

Not a good night is being nice. I hate it for Kincaid, this kid has carried this team the whole year and the one night when he needed them to step up they laid down. Heck not only did his teamates let him down then he's not allowed to be a part of the Coming Home King festivities because they knew everybody would vote for him. Go Figure!!!
I've seen games against Reyonld's in the past where the score was worst but there was effort. Saw none of that Friday night at Dalton Stadium...

- east burke fans- imagine shatley opening up holes for mr powell back in the early 2000's with the line you guys had then would have been something. is the frogge kid getting any offers? he has pretty good stats and size.
should be a hard fought game friday if the real titan team shows up. its homecoming in mcdowell if they cant get up for that then nothing will get them fired up.
