    The University of Tennessee softball team will be hosting their annual Lady Vol Classic this weekend. Admission is free. The schedule follows:

    SATURDAY, OCT. 20
    9:00 am Tennessee vs. Milligan
    11:00 am Tennessee vs. Vol St.
    1:00 pm Vol St. vs. Chipola
    3:00 pm Milligan vs. Chipola
    5:00 pm Tennessee vs. Western KY
    7:00 pm Milligan vs. Vol St.
    9:00 pm Western KY vs. Chipola

    SUNDAY, OCT. 21
    9:00 am Methodist vs. Vol St.
    11:00 am Tennessee vs. Chipola

    Walters State had a great effort against one of the top teams in the nation losing to UT by the score of 2-0 last nite, They will definately be a contender for the national championship in junior college ball!

    Yes I heard Brittany Furr & Gina Loflin had big games over the weekend. Great job ladies, show em that local talent can hang with the big dogs.
