Seeing as that somehow another thread has gotten so out of hand over this word, why don't we get some opinions on what this means?

Briefly, to me, it is an extremely rare occurence. It is more than just getting along with each other. You can't force it nor can you stop it.

I have seen a few teams in the last couple years that I felt had this magical trait. The first one would be Forbush High School, I believe last year. I couldn't even tell you anybody's name on the team but you could just see it and feel it in the air. North Forsyth, in their 30-2 season a couple years ago seemed to have it. I knew one player on that team and he was a 10th grader. There were some big names but I didn't personally know them.

Twelve or so years ago, Parkland High School had a bunch. One of the players is currently Head Coach Willie Stewart at UNCA. There was Randy Martin and Willie and Paul and Josh and Grieser and I wish I could remember the others but they were unbelievable! Great boys.

There was a group of boys about 10 years ago in Kernersville. Zumwalt, Marion, Freeman, Lamb, etc.. would woop your butt in a New York minute (and they did mine twice).

I guess we all have different opinions about what chemistry is.

    Any opinions?

On Deck O's '05 team was the only one that I was connected with that I would use the term "great chemistry". Every player genuinely supported, cheered and cared for each other. It wasn't like they were all best friends or anything like that; they just wanted all of their teammates to succeed
