Need some prayers for an injured Cougar

All Our Prayers Are for Kori!

To Kori and His Parents,
I sincerely hope that you get this message. We are the parents of the injured football player from Watauga in 2005. We have been exactly where you are right now, and know exactly what you are going through. I have to share with you that the entire conference football communtity
prayed for our son's recovery, and with their prayers, our prayers were
answered! Our son was also a Junior when he was injured, and by God's
will, he recovered, so much that he was able to play football his Senior year. By some small miracle that was Watauga's best year in many year's and we are so thankful that he was able to be a part of that year! Our
family only wishes this for you, Kori, and much much more! I would like to
stay in touch with you, and do whatever I can to encourage and help you
and your family, as through this experience, I have learned so much. I am the mother who understands what you are going through, and I pray for Kori and his recovery, as my whole family does, and our heart is with your

I hope that this message gets to the family. We are the parents of the football player that had a head injury in a football game 2 years ago. We have been exactly where you are right now with Kori, and we know exactly what you are going through. The prayers from our football conferance, along with our own, brought our son through to a miraclulas
recovery. We could not have made it through the hospital stay without
the constant phone calls, cards, and internet messages from everyone.
Our son was also a Junior when he was injured, but he recovered and was cleared to play football last year, his Senior year, which also happened to be the most successful year that Watauga had had in many years. We were so thankful that he was able to be a part of this team! So, we wish
all this and more for Kori, and we will continue to keep up with his progress. From a mother's standpoint, I know and feel your pain, just please know that you have to continue to have faith and believe that all

KORI HAS SPOKEN !!!!!!!!! HIS FIRST WORD WAS KORI. TODAY ABOUT 6:45p.m. THE NURSE ASKED HIM HIS NAME AND HE SAID KORI. THEN AT ABOUT 9:00 p.m. COACH HARPER ASKED HIS NAME AND HE SAID KORI, THEN COACH HARPER ASKED HIM HIS NICKNAME AND HE SAID ZIPPY. THAT NICKNAME IS BETWEEN COACH HARPER AND KORI I AIN'T GOING THERE. BEING HIS DAD AND WATCHING MY SON GO FROM WHERE HE WAS LAST SUNDAY AND SEE WHERE HE IS NOW I AM SO EMOTIONAL. PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP KORI IN YOUR PRAYERS AND LETS WATCH GOD DO HIS WORK ON KORI. when KORI moves today he will be going to room # 1106 on the 11th floor of REYNOLDS TOWER. (accute care)..... he is still not going to be in his own individual room it will be him and only 3 other patients. I WANT TO PERSONALLY SAY TO EVERYONE WHO READS THIS THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONCERNS, YOUR THOUGHTS, AND YOUR PRAYERS FOR MY SON. IT HAS MEANT ALOT TO ME. THANK YOU !!!!!! JERET KINNAIRD

well it's just past noon on wednesday. kori has got the orders to move out of ICU today !!!!! up to this point today he has said the words micah, kori kinnaird, and I LOVE YOU to me (HIS DAD). again just to say this we cannot get to excited about KORI because he still has got a long fight ahead and he is definitely not saying complete sentences just individual words. so PLEASE keep praying for his FULL RECOVERY !!!! JERET KINNAIRD

 

Coming Home

Well its Thanksgiving Day and word has gotten around that Kori may be home as soon as December 5th...he has been on his Myspace today...he is making amazing improvements...he is strong and in good health...keep praying for him though...Get home soon #1
