A college recruiter asked me to post this. He wants to make sure they aren't missing somebody.

Who are the best unsigned seniors? School? background information? If you know of somebody that has not received deserved recognition, now is the time to get that name out and tell us why he is capable of playing at the next level.

    TIA

Very good posts. That's what I am talking about.

Keep this in mind because it is very important. If the player does not have the grades and SAT scores, don't bother to post his name. The recruiters will ignore him

    08's

    Jim Leggett RHP Rocky Mount
One of the best pitchers I have watched this summer and fall. Pitches in the 84-86 range with a devastating change up. He knows how to pitch. His delivery is clean and consistent and he has a ton of movement on his ball. He was outstanding again in Jupiter just like he has been all year. He is a winner. Outstanding student and young man as well.

Mark Buchannan SS OF Cedar Ridge
Mark is a gamer. He makes plays and barrells the baseball consistently. He is a very versatile player that is a plus defender in the outfield as well as SS. Very good arm , average runner. Everytime I see him play he just seems to make every play and always get a big hit. He has great make up he plays very hard and is an outstanding young man.

    Chris Sanders C West Forsyth
Ive seen Chris three times this summer and fall. He is an outstanding catcher. He works behind the dish. He has a solid arm not a cannon but a solid arm. I like his approach at the plate. He starts with a slight open stance and attacks the baseball. He is one of those guys that when I watch him play I know he loves the game. He never takes a pitch off and is a good leader on the field. He is a definite college guy. I like this kid alot.

Craig Farmer Inf P Northern Durham
Craig can hit. He does a great job of using the whole field and he has good pop in his bat. He is a good defender and has a very good arm. Average runner and athletic player. He is a very smart player who understands the game. Craig can also hurl it a bit with a little cross fire action from the hill working in the low to mid 80's the last time I saw him. Craig is a competitor and loves the game.

Travis Horn C OF Northern Durham
Travis Horn like Farmer is a very good hitter. He sprays the ball all over the park. Behind the plate his is very solid with a good arm. He is a 2.0 guy all day long. Travis really shows arm strength from the outfield with tons of carry. He is an average runner and gets after it hard.

    Jacob Davis OF Wilson Fike
There is not a better hitter unsigned in the state. Big strong physical player that can mash from the right side. He has a great approach at the plate with plenty of bat speed. He plays a very solid outfield with a plus arm. This kid is a solid middle of the order hitter who will drive in runs. Im shocked that he has not been picked up yet. I saw him absolutely mash this summer. He is an outstanding student and a terrific young man.

    Bentley Massy RHP Wilson Fike
Bentley can pitch. He commands all his pitches and all he does is consistently get guys out. He is a lower 80's guy with great movement and deception in his delivery. Great student as well.

    Marquis Riley 2B Orange
The best posistion player not signed imo. The fact is he is one of the best in the state period. This guy hits from the leftside and boy can he hit. He has surpriseing power and uses the whole field. He is a plus defender with an average arm. He runs well and knows how to run the bases. He has a high baseball IQ and makes plays. I love to watch this kid play the game. He gets after it and he makes things happen. He is not a guy you want to see come to the plate in a crucial situation. Unless your coaching him. Tremendous player. I saw him in Jupiter playing with a PG team. He is an outstanding young man.

Zac Crumpler C 1B Wilson Fike
Big strong physical player. 6'-3" runs well and has some juice in the bat. Zac is a solid catcher with a good arm. I like him at 1B the best though. Very good defender at first. Long and athletic with good hands. He has a patient approach at the plate and is a good hitter. He has a ton of upside and should be a very good college player. Fike is going to be real good this year.

    Daniel Welch RHP HS ?
I saw this kid pitch for the NCBA this fall. I like him alot. I dont know what HS he attends and I think he is an 08. He was mid 80's with good sink on his fb. Very solid mechanics very smooth and consistent. Good off speed stuff. He looked like a pretty good athlete on the hill as well.

I like this feedback. If I was a coach, I would squeeze him like Stretchlon's strike zone. I wouldn't let him get away

Both of these players were outstanding in Jupiter against top notch pitching. Chris was especially strong with the bat.

    Aaron Plummer (Heat Showcase Baseball)

Flying under the radar big time is Aaron Plummer (North Meck HS) Infield/Outfield that can track down any ball hit. Great contact hitter (2 hole type of hitter) spreads the ball all over the field. Line Drive gap hitter with excellent speed (6.8 in the 60). Great work ethic and a 4.0 student.
