    We have a member that is new to Fayetteville. He needs information about baseball in the city, schools, showcase teams, players to watch, etc, etc

    Please post all information that you may know

    FAYETTEVILLE

    Methodist University is in town, one of the premier DIII schools in the nation. Coach Austin is an outstanding coach.

    Traditionally...

    at least the past 15 years or so traditionally weak!? HS wise! Surprisiing with Coach A and Methodist being so strong.

    But Fayetteville is home of many Hurricane players....and those guys are studs

    Great area

    of HS baseball talent. The area has not produced alot of powerhouse teams of late but it has produced some outstanding players. And the crop right now is very very good. Many of the current Hurricanes South players are from the area. The Senior Hurricanes team had a ton of area guys on it and they were very good. Everything runs in cycles.
