Josh Russell (Alexander Central QB) FABULOUS CAREER ...

Stats are stats and only stats. The recievers did reasonably well this year, there was no intention of taking credit away from them. All that is besides the point. Josh brings so much to the game. Josh had a great career with the help of good recievers and will be missed when he is gone.

 

I agree with you totally "notsofast" you can not live off "What Ifs" that is for sure...... but guys please leaveit at that remember what this is about.....

 

I would like to say thank you to who started this thread. I really appreciate the things you have said and thanks to all the others that have commented in the right way. My recievers know that I give them credit so I dont need some Junior Member that just joined today to tell me I need to tell them thanks.

Wow, I just came across this thread....those numbers are staggering....you've had a great career and here's hoping you can continue that through college!

I have watched Russell for the last 4 years and he is a very talented passer. He should get a shot somewhere to play at the next level. He is mobile enough to avoid pressure and has a very good arm. Given the right set of circumstances at the right school, Russell could shine in college. The thing that impressed me the most is his ability to look at his 2nd, or 3rd option when throwing. He does not lockdown on a receiver and that is a talent that many find hard to develop, he had it from day one. Give this kid a chance, he will rise to the challenge.

I know this is a football board. And I did not say that anyone was perfect. But you can atleast spell a players name the right way. Thats all I was trying to say.

And yes, Josh Russell did have a good career as ACHS QB
